This Privacy Policy explains how Falcon Downloader (the "Software") collects, protects, and uses information; how you manage personal data; how we protect minors; and how this Policy applies and updates. Please read carefully, especially highlighted sections.

Core note: the Software is a "fully local" download tool. Your downloaded files, task history, and playback cache are stored on your device, do not rely on any cloud, and are not proactively uploaded or accessed by us. We process only limited necessary information in the narrow scenarios described below (e.g., security, troubleshooting, purchases).

I. What Data Do We Collect?

• Download tasks and local data (local by default): download links, torrent/magnet links, file names, save paths, task status and progress, and playback cache. These are stored on your device by default and are not proactively uploaded; uninstalling or clearing app data may cause loss;
• Device and log data: IP, device model, OS, app version, identifiers, and necessary crash, performance, and diagnostic data for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and stability improvements;
• Clipboard (optional): read only when you trigger link/magnet handling features, used once, not stored;
• Purchase and entitlement data (only when you use paid features such as Falcon Pro): order ID, plan, payment status. Full payment details are handled by app stores or payment channels; we generally do not store them;
• Other: feedback and support communications you voluntarily provide.

II. How Do We Collect Data?

When you add a download task locally, the related data is written only to your device. Device and log data may be collected automatically during use. Clipboard content is read only when you trigger the relevant feature. We may receive necessary information from app stores (to verify purchases) or security providers.

III. How Will We Use Data?

To provide, maintain, and improve download, task-management, and playback features; ensure security, prevent abuse, and perform troubleshooting/crash analysis; provide support and handle complaints; verify paid entitlements such as Falcon Pro; comply with law. Service providers act on our instructions and may not use data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data for third-party marketing.

IV. Storage and Protection

Download tasks, files, and playback cache are stored locally on your device and managed by you; uninstalling or clearing app data may cause loss—back up important files. We do not proactively collect or upload the content you download. Limited necessary data (e.g., crash logs) is retained only as long as necessary and then deleted or anonymized. Industry-standard encryption and access controls apply. Security incidents are reported as required by law.

V. Marketing

With consent, we may send product updates or promotions. Opt out anytime via email or support@geilidrive.com. Service-essential notices are unaffected.

VI. Your Data Protection Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Because most data is local, you can manage it directly in the app (e.g., clear download records or cache). Contact support@geilidrive.com to exercise rights.

VII. Local Storage

We use local storage to save your preferences (e.g., Wi-Fi-only transfer, download save location, language) and necessary runtime data. You can manage this via device settings or clearing functions; clearing may reset some preferences.

VIII. Minors

We do not knowingly collect from anyone under 14 (or the local minimum age). Users under 14 must not use the Software or submit personal data; use under guardian consent and supervision. If we discover minors' data, we will delete it promptly. Contact support@geilidrive.com.

IX. We Do Not Sell Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information.

X. Cross-Border Transfer

Where payment verification or necessary security services are involved, limited data may be transferred or accessed outside your country with appropriate safeguards under applicable law.

XI. Third Parties

Content you download comes from the internet or other third parties; this Policy does not apply to them. If you enable "Allow third-party player," downloaded media is handled by a third-party app on your device, subject to that app's own privacy policy. Please review it before use.

XII. Updates

We review and update this Policy regularly. Material changes notified via App or website; consent sought where required.
